Mosaic and eraser
Cover sensitive details before you share a capture.
Mosaic / blur
- Choose the mosaic or blur tool.
- Drag over phone numbers, ID numbers, keys, internal addresses, avatars, and similar areas.
- Check the preview and export only when the detail is no longer readable.
Cover a little extra rather than miss something.
Eraser
The eraser removes extra annotation strokes. It does not erase the original image (follow the actual client behavior).
- If an arrow or box is wrong, erase that part.
- Undo can also step the whole mark back.
Checklist before you share
- Accounts, phone numbers, and email addresses are covered
- Internal links, keys, and tokens are covered
- A colleague's name or avatar is covered if it should be
- The marks do not hide the thing you meant to show
