Preferences
Settings let you change how capture and recording behave. Menu names can differ slightly by version. Follow the client.
Common settings
- Account: sign in or register, membership status, and upgrade
- Shortcuts: capture and custom-capture shortcuts; disable shortcuts during a full-screen game
- System: language, start with Windows, and the folders for captures and recordings
- Updates: check for updates and automatic upgrade (non-store builds)
- About: version, documentation, the local guide, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Membership Notice
A practical setup
- Give captures and recordings their own folders.
- On a work PC, start with Windows and keep the tray icon so the shortcut is always available.
- For full-screen games, turn on “disable shortcuts during a full-screen game.”
Account
